The KMAK Foundation knows how to throw a party with purpose! On October 3rd, we hosted the unforgettable Barbie Land Party, all in support of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Guests, decked out in their most vibrant and stylish Barbie-themed attire, came together for an evening of dancing, fine food, and generosity — all for a great cause: benefiting the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s.

The night was electric, with music filling the air and a dance floor that stayed packed as attendees grooved the night away. But the fun didn’t stop there! A silent auction added a touch of excitement, with guests bidding on everything from luxury experiences to exclusive memorabilia, all to help raise funds for this critical cause.

Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s very own head chef wowed the crowd with a stunning spread of Southwestern cuisine, blending flavors that highlighted the best of the region. It wasn’t just food for the body — it was food for the soul, with every bite reminding us of the event’s greater purpose: helping children in need.

In a heartwarming show of generosity, attendees also took part in a unique toy drive, filling a Radical SR3 race car to the brim with toys for the young patients at Phoenix Children’s. There’s nothing quite like seeing a high-speed machine overflowing with stuffed animals and dolls, all bound for the hands of children who could use a little extra joy in their lives.

We were honored to have special guests like Dr. Mario Otto, the esteemed director of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, join us for the evening. His dedication and expertise have changed countless lives, and it was a privilege to celebrate alongside him. We were also thrilled to welcome the Mayor of Phoenix, Kate Gallego, whose presence underscored the community-wide support for the cause. Together, they helped highlight the critical work being done at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and the importance of continued support.

The Barbie Land Party wasn’t just a celebration — it was a reminder of the power of community and kindness. Every dollar raised and every toy donated at the silent auction made a direct impact on the lives of children facing the toughest battles. Thanks to the incredible support of everyone who attended, all proceeds from the event will go towards the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, helping them continue their lifesaving work.
