How we invest
We take concentrated positions in businesses and assets we can understand from the inside: clinical innovators, device developers, specialised operators, credit books with real collateral, and well-located real estate. We can be the first institutional money in the room, and we stay involved through the life of the investment.
What we look for
An operator who has already solved something hard, a market that rewards patience, and a capital structure we can hold through a cycle without forcing anyone’s hand. We prefer partnerships where our committee’s experience is worth more than our cheque.

Lynn Fischer
CEO and Managing DirectorLynn leads the firm’s strategic investment initiatives. With over four decades of executive experience, she is best known as co-founder and former CEO of Title21 Health Solutions, a healthcare technology company advancing cell and gene therapy manufacturing and compliance. Her career began in consumer packaged goods, with senior marketing and leadership roles at E. & J. Gallo Winery and Mars Incorporated. Lynn serves on advisory boards including the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business Board of Visitors. She also sits on the board as chairman of the board at Alaya.Bio, steering the company’s strategy.

Managing PartnerKent E. leads the firm’s investment strategy. He brings deep technical and entrepreneurial expertise as co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer of Title21 Health Solutions, where he developed and scaled solutions within a highly regulated industry. At KMAK Capital, he draws on this background in product development, systems architecture, and operational execution to evaluate complex opportunities and support portfolio company growth.

He previously worked in property and asset management at Ross Brown Partners and is co-founder of Agave Mechanical, an HVAC contractor. His background also includes marketing at Title21 Health Solutions and cell and gene therapy strategy.
